Trucking Thoughts and Experiences

An orphan trailer - it would be a shame if someone who was born2truck were to take it, and...   ...the theft did not go as planned after the local authorities became involved. In the fast-paced world of logistics, sometimes mistakes happen...  ...other times are joyous, and... ...there are some times of absolute beauty - - in full-motion video.

Mule Stress Test

Image
The man who is born2truck is a big fan of Pißwasser - here he is posed in one of the many fine San Andreas liquor establishments that sell the beverage - and he was ecstatic when he learned that he would get to review the Maibatsu Mule in the  Pißwasser livery! Here it is on the freeway just outside of Paleto Bay. The C-O-E Mule is definite workhorse, and a real beauty, with tried and tested commercial applications. The man who was born2truck decided that it was not worth going over the basics that everyone knew: the Muke is a reliable non-articulated truck for local deliveries. Here is the Mule and born2truck on an elevated section of  San Andreas heights, showing that the Mule, like its namesake, is a capable mountain climber. New Generation / MTL Packer Cab Review

Image
Here is a new generation - another man that is born2truck. This nameless road-wanderer seems to be a fan of fine German beverage known as  Pißwasser . For this entry born2truck will be doing an evaluation of the MTL V24 Supercharged Packer ; pictured here with a sea container-style box trailer. Here is a shot from the inside of the cab of the Packer. Notice the integrated electronic management system, significant communications and radio setup, as well as large, easy-to-read dials. The Packer has some feet and doesn't mind minor off-road adventures. Seen here near the coast at sunrise.   Like most cabs, the Packer is most at home on the blacktop. Sometimes the life of a trucker will bring them in contact with wildlife, like this cougar. In a off-road stress test, born2truck encountered some issues with the Packer and trailer retention. Despite some rough turnovers in testing, the safety systems of the Packer kept born2truck safe.
